Draw Setup

You are ready to perform the Draw after you have, as a minimum, entered the data necessary to describe the Competition, the Competitors, and the critical times on the day of the Competition. You can also enter other, supplementary data, that is not vital to the conduct of the Competitions, but which is a great help to you and others in managing the competition and keeping everyone informed of what is happening. Some examples of this kind of information are the names of Jury members, the agenda for the Team Captains' meeting, the allocation of zeroing lanes, and the specifications for the trails that are being used during the Competition.

In the screen below you can see some of the information that BIAB can use to refine the Draw, including the ability to work with incomplete sets of bibs, to allow you to change the first bib that is issued and to have the simultaneous start of small groups of competitors. You can use the time specification for each Competition to leave gaps in the starting order so that you can accommodate last minute entries, if that is your wish. You may choose to publicly display the whole of the Draw during the Team Captains' Meeting, or just let the computer complete the Draw with no further associated delay.
